A Minimalists Winter Wardrobe, Outfit Inspiration.

Whether you’re decluttering your closet, seeking new fashion choices, or simply craving a more effortless approach to winter dressing, this space is here to inspire you to stay cosy, chic, and minimalist.

These outfits are where minimalism meets elevation.

LOOK 1 - An oversized black blazer, a structured yet oversized blazer is a timeless staple. Adding a silk maxi skirt really highlights the 2024 trend of combining masculine tailoring with a soft feminine touch. The subtle gold and black jewellery pieces add warmth and depth to the monochrome outfit. This year we have also been a fan of the hardshell headband. They have been everywhere and are nicer than ever. From the runway to celebrity street style, the latest must-have accessory is both a '90s throwback and a chic athleisure-forward sporty look. Carolyn Bassette-Kennedy embodied '90s minimalism, famously known for her preference for both thin and thick hard shell headbands. Adding a body oil to your regime in the morning is where beauty and fashion work together to create a polished persona.

LOOK 2 - This look is all about textures. Mixing and matching an oversized faux fur coat with a grey knit dress. Faux fur continues to dominate winter trends, with its appeal and ability to elevate even the simplest outfits. This dress can easily be transitioned between casual and formal settings. The pointed-toe, kitten heeled suede boots in olive add depth to the neutral palette of the rest of the outfit. Adding a pop of colour to your accessories always elevates a minimalistic outfit. For example the Pilgrim Negroni hoops. The sleeveless knit dress provides a base layer, while the oversized coat is a smart layering option to keep warm while still looking stylish throughout the winter months.

LOOK 3 - Let’s start by talking about the Leopard print hat, animal print has made a strong return this year adding to many statement accessories. Although you might still link bold animal prints to your mums wardrobe from ten years ago, it's important to remember that fashion is cyclical. Many of our favourite designers are drawing inspiration from the early 2000s in their leopard print revival. However, the final collections showcased on the Spring/Summer 2024 and Autumn/Winter 2024 runways embody a refined and contemporary interpretation of this trend. The wool adds a sense of softness to the look, complemented by the rich surface textures of oversized outerwear. Lastly we’ve added in a Loewe Ceramic Candle. Though not a wearable component, the candle nods to the idea of winter cosiness, reinforcing the connection between personal style and lifestyle choices.

LOOK 4 - Long, ultra-soft gloves, and cosy, short leather gloves are trending for winter 2024-25. These styles, showcased in numerous fashion shows, have gone viral and become a must-have for the colder months. In today's world, gloves serve as both a protective accessory in the workplace and a stylish addition to enhance your outfit. Most importantly, they help keep your hands warm during the winter months. If you are impressed by the office chic of the 90s-2000s you’ll love a pair of small oval glasses to complete your look.

LOOK 5 - The Return of the Long Suede Coat: A 2024 Winter Staple. A suede trench coat has really made its comeback this year. Suede coats were a hallmark of 1970s fashion and they can still to this day instantly elevate any outfit. Whether you're strolling through the city or enjoying a dinner with friends, the long suede coat is your perfect companion for staying stylish and warm throughout the winter months.

LOOK 6 - Long fur coats look stylish, and add a touch of luxury to your image, they can be combined not only with heels but also with everyday casual shoes. Whether you're dressing up for a night out or just running errands around town, these versatile pieces can elevate your outfit effortlessly.
